We are pleased to renounce a minor update of the RPS Command Library - Version 2026.2001.
This update provides improved compatibility with older versions of TBC (5.9x, 2023, 2024, 2025 versions), curing a number of known issues with some commands causing those older TBC versions to crash.
In addition, we have updated the license checking system, so that when you are coming up for renewal, you will now only be notified once every 8 hours that your license is due for renewal in the cominmg weeks.
The update also provides minor improvements to several commands including the following
CAD Cleanup
The command had some dialog display issues when used on displays running 1080 resolution. This has now been rectified.
Grid Volumes from Boundaries
Minor update to fix small defects.
Optimize Linestrings
The Optimize Linestring command, if applied to lines that already comprised Straight and Arc segments, would optimize the straight segments creating largfe radius arcs that caused deviations between the original straight line and the “optimized line”. The command has been improved to doi nothing to lines that already comprise arcs and straightsm, and to notify the user that nothing was done to the selected lines for this reason.
PDF Manager
It is now possible to use the naming template in review mode to directly change the display name for the sheets to be georeferenced.
When using the Mid Point method to select locatrions during georeferencing, if you cleared this part way through, it would cause PDF Manager to throw exceptions and not work correctly. This has now been rectified.
The PDF Manager would throw exceptrions if the From and To locations were the same coordinate. This defect has been rectified in the update.
PDF Manager would throw exceptions when applying dimmed display style to sheets during georeferencing. This has now been rectified.
RPS Settings
Minor updates
Smart Elevate
Minor update to address highlights and also some minor issues when nodes on a line are very close to each other.
Smart Feature
Would not run correctly the first time on version 2024 and older. This has now been rectified.
TMLStatus
TML Status has been improved to better handle the Locking of folders following a TBC update. The Macro Commands folder is always locked when you do a TBC update, such that in the past, you have always had to do a new RPS install from anm installer package to release the lock. Now when you start TBC after doing an update, on startup you will be notified by TMLStatus that you need tio unlock the Macro Commands folder, and by clicking OK the lock will be removed. If you require Admin rights to do this on nyour computer, the admin credentials screen will then be presented prior to removing the lock. This streamlines the process so that the lock can be removed without a need for a reinstall fo the RPS Command Library.
