Does anyone know how to print a Plan set toa PDF with out going in and turning all your line work to black or grey. Is it possible to leave all the line work the layered colors and it prints to pdf in black and white?
I would be interested in this solution as well.
You really want to create a view Filter in your project template for Black and White Printing. In that View Filter, go into Advanced View Filter Settings and then set the color for all layers / objects to Black or gray etc as needed. You can also apply overrides to the Lineweight also. Now save your project template so that you have it for future use.
If you already have a project with data in it then you will have to do the same thng that will then only apply to this project.
For these types of View Filter don’t lock them, leave them as flexible filters like MyFilter. Then you can turn layers on and off and whatever is visible at the time of plotting to PDF will be printed in your override colors not the norrmal TBC colors
When you get Smart Scene in our next release, this has an easier / faster way of handling this process for plotting wth the RPS Fileter View Filter.
for a quick change in grey scale. I just print and then from the app that opens the PDF just do another save as grey scale.
I have Saved my work. I have grey scaled my layers I want grey and keep the ones I want to be called out in color. Would be great to print PDF in grey scale and be allowed to choose lines you want to keep as colored.
