Command Overview
The Smart Draw command provides the ability to digitize / draw 2D and 3D linestrings including Arc and Straight Segments, 3D nodes and VPIs including the following controls
- Auto close
- Extend vertical
- Override segment length
- Extract elevation from surface - drape at nodes and or vertices
- Extract elevation from 3D objects
- Apply elevation formula to reduce data entry for elevation values
- Draw n point lines where n is user definable
- Auto Pan
- Add line to surface on completion
- Reverse line
- Show line direction
- Grip edit lines while command is running (G hotkey)
- Start a new line (N hotkey)
- Vector snap On / Off (V hotkey)
