RPS Command Hot Keys
As RPS Commands evolve to increase productivity through faster interactions, we are using keyboard hot keys to allow you to move rapidly between command functions or to access necessary functions quickly. Below you will find the list of Command Hot Keys that are currently implemented.

Command Hot Keys
Screen Pan Controls
Pan keys will pan the plan view up, down, left and right from it’s current location

Screen Rotation Controls
Screen rotation keys will rotate the plan view clockwise or anticlockwise

Elevation Controls
In Smart Edit and Adjust Linestring Elevation, the elevation controls allow you to increase / decrease contour elevations and reset the increment / decrement direction and or the current elevation value. The next elevation is displayed on the cursor in plan view.

Smart Edit Controls
The Smart Edit command has a growing number of Edit modes, these hot keys allow you to change edit mode quickly

Command Mode and Option Controls
Where commands like Smart Edit provide multiple Options for e.g. how to break a line or modes within those options, the following hot keys allow you to change command option option and or mode

New Loop / New Line Control
Many commands have a typical program loop e.g. Joining a series of lines together, when you want to start a New Loop (select a new source line to join from) use N to do so. N can also trigger Relayer and Elevate when using Smart Edit in Join mode.

Rock Grips Control
Many commands also create or edit lines, if you want to Grip edit the line you can use G to access Rock Grips. Use G to enable Rock Grips and to Disable Rock Grips and return to normal command functionality. G works when the Rock Grips button is provided in the command dialog

Menu Pop Up
Many commands create or edit lines and you may wish to apply common line editing functions including the following while executing the RPS Command, these can all be accessed using the Shift M Menu Pop Up which includes access to

Isolate Layers Control / Command.
The Isolate Layers control is available anywhere in any command of TBC when you have the RPS Command Shortcuts style loaded (See RPS Shortcut Manager command for details - Click Here). The control will isolate multiple layers defined by selecting objects. The command also retains the PDF Image background and also displayed surface models - those can be controlled independently. Use the same control to Isolate and Unisolate data. The command can also be found on the Data Prep Toolbox menu in the Layers group of commands.
