PDF Manager Command
Command Description
Provides a complete workflow process for reviewing, importing, organizing, georeferencing plan and profile drawings, and extracting data from PDF files for both Site and Alignment / Corridor projects. The command also provides tools to extract images e.g. Typical Sections or Typical Details and place them in Plan or Sheet views. When you win a bid and receive final coordinates for a project, you can re reference all of the sheets, images and extracted model data from its current location to its final coordinates and orientation in a single step process.
Command release History
July 2025
Command improved to provide varying DPI (Dots Per Inch) setting for image extraction and placement. Previously the PDF Manager extracted data only at 300 DPI when 150 or now 96 DPI would be adequate. Lower DPIs will create slightly “fuzzier” images that are still quite readable but have a lower file size and graphics memory requirement. If you require super high resolution imagery you can elect 300 or 600 DPI.
March 2025
Command improved to allow disabling or removing vector snap points entirely from extracted PDF sheets, to reduce image footprint / project file size where vector snaps are no longer needed.
October 2024
First command release
