The RPS Smart Takeoff Command Library / Smart Suite is focused on providing Site and Highways Takeoff capability using a 100% Rockpile Solutions workflow.
The Takeoff process includes the following key steps
- Using Smart Feature to define Area, Length, Count, Length Area and Length Width features that form the 2D basis of the Takeoff.
- Using Smart Feature to prepare and measure cross sectional areas from Cross Section drawings, and compute end section area volumes and mass haul analysis for highways projects.
- Using Smart Profile to convert profile drawings of Alignments, Utility Profiles or large Retaining Wall structures into 3D linework or 3D utility models, and to compute utility trench bracket quantities, and takeoff measured ares, lengths and counts from the profile drawings.
- Using Smart Takeoff to carry out the building of Existing and Finished Grade surfaces, demolition and subgrade adjusted surfraces, topsoil stripping and landscape area repread surfaces, overexcavation, boring logs and strata and run final earthwork quantities.
