As part of my OG, there is an on-site retaining wall of varying height. I want to demolish it to 300 mm below ground level in order to create an OG-demolished and topsoil-stripped surface for the take-off.
What would be the best way to do this? I’ve been considering applying site improvement to the OG, but the retaining wall varies in height along its length.
What do you want to do with the backfill behind the wall. Does it just stay where it is, if yes then I would personally adjust the retailning wall in the OG model by offsetting the base of wall strings down by 300mm etc to remove the wall from the OG. If you need that qty then keep the original OG and make a copy for this process and then do a surface to surface volume between the two surfaces to get the demo volume.
TBC Demolition is a straight box out from OG downwards so it would not help you on removal of a ret wall.

Thank you, Alan. That’s exactly what I did, but I was hoping there might be a smarter solution.
