Points to CSV
Command Licensing and Default Menu Location
- The Points to CSV command is part of the RPS Modeling Toolbox
- The command is located on the Modeling toolbox menu ribbon
- The command is located in the Reports menu group
Command Description
Creates a CSV output that reports a selection of points and compares them to a surface and optional alignment and incorporates the points description, layer, point name and attribute information. The cut and fill between the points and surface is also reported.
Command Interface Description
The Points to CSV command dialog looks as follows
Points:
Select the points that you wish to report
Reference surface:
Select the surface that you wish to use as the height reference for Cut/Fill values
Alignment:
Select the alignment that you wish to use for Station and Offset reference. Note that currently the alignment must be a 3D alignment i.e. it requires both a Horizontal and Vertical alignment element
Report item checkboxes:
Check the checkbox beside each of the listed items that you wish to report. The options are
- Feature Code
- Description 1
- Description 2
- Media File Name
- Layer Name
File name:
Enter the file name for the csv file that will be created. The file will be saved to the project folder for the project.
OK
Executes the command, generates the report and closes on completion
Cancel
Closes the command without further execution.
