I was using Terramodel Software before TBC. I was then using a TML Command “Incrtext” to draft texts with incrementing numbers. Do we have an equivalent command within the RPS command sets? Where? Is it possible to still use thos old TML commands in TBC? How?
In Jan 2025 we stopped providing free support and licensing for what were the free TML commands that we had been supporting and developing for the previous 5 years. They were moved into a Toolbox called Smart Start that can be purchased for $695/ year. In that Toolbox we added some additional RPS Tools as well as all.of the enhanced versions of those tools vs the original Tools that we took on from Trimble when we started RPS in 2020.
There were a number of contributing factors to that decision, the cost of Testing, Documentation, Development effort that we were having to put into those at each update of TBC was becoming a significant factor inside our business because of the continuous changes that Trimble were making to the TBC platform that were causing us to have to rework the commands on a regular basis.
We want to provide long term sustainable product development and full support for all of the commands that we create, and want to enhance all of those tools as often as necessary to make them capable of what our users require, we could not sustain that at no cost indefinitely.
Hopefully this answers your question
Alan
