Explode Text
COMMAND LICENSING AND DEFAULT MENU LOCATIONS
- The Explode Text command is part of the RPS Modeling Toolbox.
- The command is located on the Modeling macros menu ribbon.
- The command is located in the Sections menu group.
COMMAND DESCRIPTION
Explodes strings of offset label text in cross sections when they are merged into a single string in the data extracted from PDF files for the cross section takeoff workflow.

SETUP AND EXECUTION
Command Interface Description
The Explode Text command dialog looks as follows:
Texts to explode:
Select the strings of text that you wish to explode into individual labels.
Apply:
Click Apply to explode the selected text items. The text items will be exploded and converted into individual text labels that will then work in the cross section conversion workflow.
OK
Executes the command and closes upon completion.
Cancel
Closes the command without further execution.
