Cut / Fill Colors Settings
A number of commands leverage the Cut / Fill color settings including the Label points command. These are used to define the default colors of objects created that relate to the Cut / Fill color scheme and also the high (Cut), low (Fill) and on grade (between high and low values) tolerances that are used to determine the color for the objects being influenced by the settings.
Cut color:
Select a color for objects that have a cut / fill value greater than the cut tolerance.
Cut tolerance:
Enter the value for the cut tolerance i.e. where we are labeling points in relation to a reference surface or line, if the location is above the reference (cut to get to grade) the tolerance defines how much above grade the location has to be before it is colored the cut color vs the within tolerance color.
Within tolerance color:
Select a color for objects that have a cut / fill value between the Cut and Fill tolerance values.
Fill tolerance:
Enter the value for the fill tolerance i.e. where we are labeling points in relation to a reference surface or line, if the location is below the reference (fill to get to grade) the tolerance defines how much below grade the location has to be before it is colored the fill color vs the within tolerance color.
Fill color:
Select a color for objects that have a cut / fill value less than the fill tolerance.
