I’d love to see a batch edit option to convert multiple lines with 3d nodes to vpis or vpis to 3d nodes. Currently I dont know of a way to do this otherwise, convert to linestring only sort of works if there are nodes that can be removed within the filter parameters set.
I think it’d be great to see it reduce the 3d nodes that no longer serve a purpose/only existed for the elevation as well if possible.
In Smart Edit - Linestring Edit you can do VPI to 3D Nodes not the other way around, you can also convert 2D nodes to 3D nodes also.
This does not work on Vertical Curve VPIs, only on Elevation and Slope VPIs (Inbound, Outbound and Slope Slope VPIs)

Yeah I’d like to be able to go the other way with it as well when editing a line.
I’ll second the batch VPI to 3D Node request. Would have used it already on two projects today!
