Is it possible to do a conditional side slope setup? I want to set up a side slope that ties into the existing ground surface a say -1%, but if for whatever reason there is intersection to be found, I want it to hold -1% for 5 feet.

When you are creating TBC sidelsope or corridor model sideslope objects, you either ise Conditional side slope instructions or use the Slope by Depth Table option. The latter option uses inbuilt conditions for each step that you create, however when you apply these it will eg try step 1 Nd if it finds an intersection within that step it will stop, so if for example you want to use eg
1:1 for up to 5’ vertically and if that fails then
Do 1:1 for 5’ and then a 2:1 for rhe next 5’ ot 2:1 for up to 10’ then
Do 1:1 for 5’ and then 2:1 For the next 5’ and 3:1 for the next 5’ or 3:1 for up to 15’
Etc the slope by depth table is your tool
However if your first instruction is that you have to do a full 5’ first regardless of whether you hit an intersection or not then that is not a sideslope it is just a slope element that you would create prior to defining the sideslope which defines that you are seeking an intersection at which you want to stop.
