VPI at Elevation
COMMAND LICENSING AND DEFAULT MENU LOCATIONS
- The VPI at Elevation command is part of the RPS Data Prep Toolbox.
- The command is located on the Data Prep macros menu ribbon.
- The command is located in the Create / Edit menu group.
COMMAND DESCRIPTION
Creates VPIs on the selected line at the specified elevation each time the line passes through the defined elevation.
SETUP AND CONFIGURATION
Command Interface Description
The VPI at Elevation command dialog looks as follows:
Linestring:
Select the 3D linestring to which you want to add VPIs (Vertical Points of Intersection).
EXECUTE
Elevation:
Define the elevation at which you want to add VPIs to the selected linestring.
Results:
Displays the results of the process once executed.
APPLY BUTTON
When you tap Apply, the VPIs will be placed at the defined elevation on the selected linestring and the command will prepare itself for another selection set and another process execution. If you do not want to make a second selection and repeat the process, tap Close to finish the process.
CLOSE BUTTON
Closes the command without further execution.
