Smart Edit Training

In this training session we will be covering Rockpile’s new Smart Edit command. This training should give users an understanding of the command’s interface and execution, along with some useful workflows for streamlining your data prep processes.

In this 2hr session we will be covering the workflow for converting your PDF cross-section into 3d stored cross-sections for work in a Corridor Takeoff. We will also be covering the process for creating alignments as they are necessary for the conversion of your cross-sections.

In this 2hr session we will be looking at the difference of converting cad cross-sections versus pdf cross-sections with the focus being on the Cad format and how that process differs from the PDF workflow.

In this 2hr session, we’ll be taking a look at setting up a corridor, corridor settings and properties, surfaces and templates, instruction types, instruction definitions and examples, using tables and lines, material and material layers


Corridor Modeling

In this 2hr session we’ll be building a basic corridor, we’ll hit on siper elevations and subgrades as well as creating sideslopes.

In this 2hr session we’ll be looking at Ramp and Gore areas, Intersection modeling, Side Slope and Vertical Design Commands.
