I learned something new with the surface slicer today, and thought I would share.
If you hold Shift while drawing your slicing line. you are able to keep adding lines. so if you have a bend in a cross section you can capture it in a single slice window. this will save me time in QA in the future.
I hope it helps someone.

Great tip. I find that if I hold the CTRL key down I can draw sections at any angle. Using the Shift key seems to force me to orthogonal slicing lines.

Shift is because ortho snap is on, but i didn’t know CTRL worked like having that option off. having both options seems like a fast way to get ortho and non ortho slicing lines fast.
Thank you Marshall.
