Has anyone else had issues with station equations screwing with the stationing on a vertical profile after you’ve entered it all in?
I currently working on a large pipeline project that has a station equation. Friday, I went it and entered all the VPI’s from the alignment, verified that they were correct, then came back today to find that they had all shifted down-station by 50-ish feet. Am I missing something simple?
I think this used to happen to me, except everything would be offset by the length of the line. This almost sounds like a segment got added somewhere (or deleted). You can try messing with the data input settings, but the quickest and easiest way is to use rockpile’s edit alignment as spreadsheet feature. That feature alone is worth having the subscription.
