Command Description

Provides the ability to rename / renumber drill holes in a drill plan, allowing for irregular shaped boundaries, the addition of extra drill holes and the movement of drill holes to allow for fault patterns through the drilling area. All holes are renamed uniquely and regularly along rows and columns of the drill plan. Drill hole names / numbers can be defined using a user defined name pattern.

Command Interface Description

The Rename Drill Holes command dialog looks as follows

Drill Plan
Select the Drill Plan that you wish to renumber. Note the Drill Plan type needs to be the Grid Type of Plan for this renaming command to work. Note that the origin and orientation of the drill plan is always honored in the renaming scheme, the renaming will start from the same origin points. If the project does not have any Grid Plan types, then the selection dialog will be empty.

The renaming process uses the half spacing of the rows and columns to determine which row an added hole belongs to. The added holes are added to the row and column based on their closest proximity within a half row or half column spacing.

Define the hole naming system that you wish to use e.g. {R}:{C} for Row:Column or {R}-{C} for Row-Column
