Technology Requirements
Training will be performed on Trimble Business Center’s latest version along with Rockpile Solutions’ latest RPS Command Libray Toolboxes.
- All users should have their own TBC License - requires license & warranty date valid for the latest edition of TBC.
- Older versions of TBC may be accommodated, but you will need some “special tricks” to open newer files on your software and not all training may be applicable to you. We highly recommend securing the latest version of TBC prior to the event.
- Rockpile Solutions All Tools License is required. You can purchase a license with one of the event packages above. The base event attendance package includes 2 weeks of the RPS All Tools license to be activated on Monday, February 24th.
- Your own laptop and charger.
- Any additional screens that you require.
Technology Provisions:
Rockpile & SITECH Eastern Canada will provide the following technology for all attendees at the event:
- Power strips at each two person desk. Sufficient to power two laptops, up to two screens, and your mobile devices.
- Internet access.
- Streaming of training to each desk via Google Meet. Links to be provided upon training arrival.
- Provision of the latest RPS Templates, Menus, Libraries, and Settings Files for use during and after the event.
- Training materials on USB Sticks and Web Drive. These will be available by February 21st for your pre-download access. Additional copies will be available on the USB Sticks at the event, but we recommend downloading ahead of time to streamline things.
Setup Assistance
If you need help setting up your computer with a new installation, the RPS team will be available prior to the training event to get you set up. We will also be available each morning prior to training to help you as needed.
Please note that you will need Admin Rights to your computer in order to install TBC and RPS Command Library products. We cannot help you if you do not have the appropriate access to your computers.
Important Note: With large group training, we cannot hold up proceedings due to individual computer issues. RPS and SITECH Team members will be standing by to assist in getting you setup on an individual basis during training, but we will not be able to get you caught back up on any training you miss during this setup time. We encourage all attendees to get the latest software installed, all training materials downloaded, and all of these items test opened before traveling to the event.
