I have uploaded a small dwg of a bottom of batter string that has been created from Civil3D. The issue that I am finding is that some of the vertices on the string are duplicated about 20 to 30mm apart with a small difference in the elevation.
The issue that I am having is when running the slope slope macro (favourite command by the way) it is having issues with intersecting this line because of all the duplicated vertices.
I was wondering if the optimize string command could be enhanced to strip out vertices on linework that are very close together and replace with a mean of the vertices that are within a specified tolerance. I hope this makes sense.
