The TML to create a New Layer is a much more user-friendly workflow. However, I’ve found a couple of issues so far. Despite ticking the ‘Protect layer’ box, the new layer has not been protected when viewed in the standard Layer Manager. Also, the new macro appears to support more characters then the standard command, <>/":;?*,=’. It is handy to have these supported, however it is then difficult to rename these layers in the standard layer manager where they are not supported.

A link to open up the MSI Manager from the new layer window would be very useful for takeoffs.
