How to properly close TBC

TBC Pro Tip: When you shut down or restart TBC, do you click on the X on the top right, or do you click on File / Exit?

We have noticed that if you use X in top right of the application rather than File Exit that the layout files that retain your last used Menu configurations are not saved, causing TBC to revert to an older / earlier version of your menu configuration.

In addition, since TBC 5.70.x was released we have noticed that on shut down after an update of TML commands that TBC can take between 20 and 30 seconds to release all currently running TMLs from the cache. This means that if you restart TBC too quickly after an update, that the updated TMLs are not updated and you will still be running the older versions. We recommend that when you shut down TBC that you wait for at least 30 seconds before restarting TBC so that all old TMLs are released so that on startup the new TMLs can be loaded correctly.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Trev
