Is there a way to create a .tp3 file inside of TBC, or will I have to export my TBC content into 3DOffice to create one?
My understanding is that you can’t import tp3 into TBC, but I don’t know about exporting. I am hoping I don’t have to learn how to use 3D office right now
I have done it both ways with 3D office just open the .tp3 file and export dxf or so and open in TBC.
Export the same way but I had troubles to send it to the machine, I think this is because of map structure.
You cannot export a TP3 or any of the other Topcon filetypes (LN3, GC3, etc) from TBC. As you mentioned, you will need to export individual linework, control point file, surface, and alignment files and build a tp3 in 3DOffice. Lots of good info in the below posting.
