This would speed up the current process of creating vertical data for alignments from 2D profiles
This would allow a user to take a profile sheet vertical alignment and append this to a horizontal alignment.

This would be a great functionality to have. I have used this process in Cad and works.
Hi all,
Does this video still exist somewhere?
Looking around for other ways to use the profile view, like appending a âdrapedâ OG profile line as another VAL in, let us say, a wall, etc.
one way would be to create the an draped line over your OG surface and use that line to be append to create an alignment. depending on your way you need the vertical called out. you could use the âEdit Alignmentâ RPS command and copy -paste the vertical into a excel sheet. then do an Edit Alignment on the alignment you want to add that OG elevations to. Use that copied-pasted vertical from excel and past it into your alignment that you want the OG elevation added too. I do belief you have to have a vertical created in that alignment first. which then you would override that data with the OG data. hit save.
