Color Heat Map by slope grade / percentage for haul roads

Is it possible to create a command which will create a heat map for slope grade

0% - color 1
5% - color 2
10% - color 3
etc

This would help when designing haul roads

I agree with Alan’s work-around as a one-time-use type of solution, but I would use a customizable shade-by-slope-range function quite extensively for designing a finish grade surface. The work-around would be ok if the surface members never changed, but as soon as surface members need added you would have to remember to add them to 4-5 surfaces perhaps. Let’s just say that if TBC could practically shade by multiple slope ranges and had a quick edit linestring function similar to another design software, where you never touch a dialog box, TBC would be stiff competition in finish grade surface design. I submitted the quick edit feature line suggestion to @Chris_Bayliff last year…
