Blue Dots on vertices- Smart edit- Join Mean

We have an issue where after lines have been joined with the smart edit tool using any of the join functions, the vertices are a bright purple blue that when zoomed in highlights them but zoomed out to normal view becomes glaring and difficult to ignore while working. Looking to see if it’s a setting we can alter or if there’s something we’re doing wrong in the process. I’ll try to attach a screen shot.

You can see zoomed in here, that the lines themselves are our different designated colors and it’s the vertices that have been highlighted.

Hi David,
This may not be helpful but if you toggle the “Toggle Line Marking” option on the bottom bar in TBC, does that get rid of the blue vertices’?

When you use the command, there is also a checkbox near the tip of the command to enable line marking. If you are simply joining lines in 2D then you can disable line marking updates there to turn this off also.
