Adding Grade Points Vertical Design

Is there a way to add random grade points to the vertical design? See screenshot. I thought it would work with the elevation rule, but it throws an error that says it has no source??

Just create a point with elevation and then add the point to the surface being created by the VD using add and remove surface members.

This is how I would tackle something like this. I didn’t add all of their spot grades because it seems to unnecessarily overwhelm the area but I am not familiar with you specs nor the area (there might be critical hold points).
