In this category we will capture the commands that belong to the different modules of TBC as a reference guide to assist you determining what license of TBC you require for different purposes.
At a high level there are 4 main configurations of TBC Perpetual License (USB or Network License) that are most applicable to construction Data Prep and Takeoff applications
Survey Advanced Edition
To be able to use TML commands you have to have at least the Survey Advanced Edition of TBC. Survey Advanced includes Surface Modeling, Corridor Modeling, Plotting and Drafting functionality as well as all of the standard TBC CAD commands.

Site Modeling Edition = Data Prep for Site and Roads
The Site Modeling Edition includes Survey Advanced and all of the Data Prep functionality that TBC offers for elevating lines, pads, contours etc. These tools provide the productivity tools that allow you to automate the elevating process. This Edition provides the advanced modeling tools like Vertical Design and Sideslope commands.

Site Construction Edition = Takeoff for Site and Roads
The Site Construction Edition includes the Site Modeling functionality and all of the Site Takeoff functionality that TBC offers for computing Earthworks Takeoff, Topsoil Stripping and replacement, Overexcavation, Boreholes and Strata and running detailed Takeoff Reports.

Infrastructure Edition = Site and Corridor Mass Haul plus Intersection Design Tools
The Infrastructure Edition includes the Site Construction functionality plus the tools to carry out Site or Corridor Mass Haul analysis and all of the Intersection Design tools to model Ramps, Interchanges, Cul-de-sacs, traffic circles (roundabouts) and T and X intersections.

The Utility Takeoff Module requires that you have the Site Modeling Edition as a minimum and provides all of the tools required to carry out the creation of utility and trench models and execute the Takeoff reports for utility work.
