Long story short we’re just flooded with work. We prep projects to the point where they’re mostly standardized, PDFs georeferenced and we create spot points for every spot elevation. Once a job is modeled we go back through with an extensive double check process and either our in house model builders handle corrections or we send it back.
We generally pay $45-55/hr for this type of work, we prefer hourly. If jobs go too slow then we would communicate that. We don’t want any incentive to rush through a job.
We build subdivision type projects a little differently. We don’t explode corridors for final products, we use the live corridor surfaces combined with the outside linework. We have videos that document this process.
