  • The command is located in the Reports menu group

Command Updates

June 1 2023 - the command was renamed to QA Road Lines from Elev Delta to Corridor with the 5.90 RPS Command Library update. The command was also moved to the reports menu ribbon along with all of the drafting, reporting and export tools. Functionally the command remains the same.

Command Description

Creates a profile in the alignment profile view for a corridor that shows the delta elevation between a selected 3D line and the selected corridor material surface layer e.g. Finished Grade. Used as a check between survey data and a selected corridor model or to determine the variance of cross slope along an alignment based on survey information.

Command Interface Description

The QA Road Lines command dialog looks as follows

Lines:
Select the line that you wish to compare to the corridor model (material layer of a corridor model). Each line selected will generate a separate difference profile. The difference profiles are added to the alignment of the selected corridor as additional ground profiles. You will find them at or around 0 elevation in the profile view of the alignment.

Corridor:
Select the Corridor model to which you want to compare the selected lines.

Material Layer:
Select the Material Layer for the selected corridor to which you want to compare the lines.

Vertical Offset:
Input a Vertical Offset to the Corridor Model / Material Layer elevation if you wish to compute e.g. to a subgrade adjusted elevation in the absence of material layers in the corridor model itself

Compute
When you tap Compute, the “Delta Profile” between the selected lines and the corridor model will be computed and assigned to the corridor alignment as an additional Profile. The command closes on completion.

Close
Closes the command without further execution.
