In this video we show how to create a set of cross sections for total Cut / Fill and also for Undercut / Overcut against a Pay Line for a Canal Excavation Project. The process uses the RPS US Feet Drafting Templates and Our Drafting Template Calculator - if you would like to be able to use these tools, please call us for more information.
The process shows preparing two corridor models using Existing, Proposed Pay Line and Final Grade surfaces to create the sections and volumetrics for the project. It goes on to show how to import and customize our drafting template with your company information and then how to setup and configure the cross section settings in order to create the desired output.
